AWS Launches New Asia Pacific (Thailand) Region with $5 Billion Investment

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has officially launched a new cloud computing region in Thailand, marking a significant investment of over US$5 billion. This strategic move aims to empower Thai businesses, startups, and government entities with improved access to cloud services, fostering economic growth and digital transformation.

The new AWS Asia Pacific (Thailand) Region will comprise three distinct availability zones, ensuring business continuity and minimizing latency for users. It is projected to have a substantial economic impact, contributing an estimated US$10 billion annually to Thailand’s GDP and creating over 11,000 full-time jobs across various sectors.
